I love the quick heating features however keeping the cooktop clean and shiney is very difficult Everytime I cook brown stains appear I was able to remove most of them but there are some stains I was not able to remove This is very disappointing considering the cost of the cook top I was afraid to use it for several days because of that experience I tried multiple cleaners but it is disappointing that I have the dark stains Also I am not able to use any pans that are colored at the bottom So I had to get rid of a number of expensive pans I bought in fear of ruining the cooktop In all realty cooks should not have to worry about damaging their cooktops They should be easy to keep clean and not worry about burnt stains In addition it would be helpful to have a cover that we could keep over it when not in use I worry that I will accidentally crack or scratch it The handles are also difficult to turn at times You have to make sure to press down then turn I am concerned I may force it one day and break it

This could be outstanding if they eliminate the knobs Very hard to keep clean The downdraft fan installation book is not close to being correct for the vent location Picture and measurements are off 11 inches It was a nightmare to get it to work with the in wall vent piping
