This sidehinged oven is great As a wheelchair user it is often difficult to reach across the open door of a bottomhinged oven especially when lifting out hot heavy dishes The sidehinge feature allows me to roll my wheelchair up close to the oven and easily lift out dishes

Had a Frigidaire Gallery swing door oven for 18 years replaced with new stainless model which is wonderful Only concern is the manual directions are very inaccurate too many misplaced Starts Check Delay start directions for most extreme wrong steps

Chose this wall oven as it was the only one with a swing door that would fit our space requirements I ordered it from Home Depot and paid for installation The installers could not make it fit the cabinet took the old one away and did not return We later realized after making adjustments to the cabinet that reason was that the oven didn't fit were that the sides were crushed and warped From the reviews we saw that this is a known problem as it means the door doesn't shut correctly They send a replacement and the new one had the same problem but not as severe and the door fit so we fixed the cabinet enough to install ourselves Now am finding the temperature is nowhere near as hot as a conventional oven things have to be baked at a higher temperature than recipes suggest and 30 additional time Loses heat rapidly when door is open briefly It looks good though

Im very grateful to find a Frigidaire 27 inch swing door wall oven to replace the one we have happily used for 17 years It is very difficult to find one of this kind I am having some difficulty with this new model My biggest complaint is the directions in the user guide are not accurate and I have been very frustrated trying to use this oven This is also compounded by the fact that the buttons are very stiff and require a concentrated effort to engage them Im still experimenting with the controls but because of the cost I thought the oven would be easier to use Im wondering if I received a lemon Once I get the oven going it works well I dont think I would recommend this oven to a friend

The new oven replaces an earlier model While I love and use all the cooking features I love that the door opens to the side like a microwave I have a large family and cook large cuts of meat and heavy casseroles This door enables the loading and unloading of heavy dishes much safer than other wall ovens I dont have to lift heavy things over a hot door obstructing me from reaching in Please keep this feature always
