It always amazes me that usually people who write negative reviews are guilty of not following directions. We have had this washer and dryer for 2 months and are VERY satisfied. There is a learning curve for the washer but there are some great tutorials on you tube.

This, along with the dryer, is the worst appliance purchase I've made in 50 years. There is not cycle less than an hour, and most are quite a few minutes more than an hour. If I could return it, I would.

Clothes donÕt get clean. It appears to use too little water to clean clothing. Manual does not explain what the machine actually does for each cycle. Perhaps we need to do heavy duty wash to get a normal load clean. Unimpressed. Too much money for laundry that doesnÕt seem to get clean, without clear explanation of loads. Tech support doesnÕt help, they just send manual pages that tell you what they think you should wash on each cycle. Nothing explains what the machine actually does. Clearly someone at the company knows, but somehow they cannot explain it. Rinse cycle looks great. Water sprays on clothing while it rinses, But things just donÕt seem to get washed.

I just bought my washer in Saturday and have done 3 loads, I didnÕt watch the first load, but when I took it out, my clothes didnÕt smell clean, so I thought maybe I forgot to add detergent, then I did my second load, made sure I added the detergent and again the clothes didnÕt smell clean, so my third load I added 2 cups of detergent and watch the machine from start to finish and the water didnÕt cover the clothes, the match just went from side to side, not all the clothes were wet and when it rinse, it spin first and shoots out water as the clothes are spinning, now how are the clothes suppose to rinse like that? IÕm returning my washer and itÕs only Monday. I purchased a top loader, I guess have to go back to front loader..

I bought this 9 months ago and it started making a loud noise that sounded like it was shifting gears. I have called LG since it was under warranty since the end of February and have gotten the run around.
