My LG experience

I bought my LG on 4623 Within a week I had a problem with frost build up in the freezer compartment I took 3 tries before I could get a technician out to check my refrigerator The technician said the seal on freezer was wasnt sealing He used a hair dryer to fix it said it should be ok going forward That was on 41923 today is 5123 my freezer has frost again

Terrible Cooling problem fixed twice First time 6 months after purchase Second time 6 months after that with not original parts because they dont make them anymore

Replaced a competitors unit that had failed prematurely The LG has far more interior space than others Ease of use is terrific Ice maker available from 2 places is also a nice feature

Great Size for a Counter Depth

We love the refrigerator so far The size is much roomier than initially thought We are a little disappointed with the condiment trays on the doors but have learned to rearrange and all is good now The black stainless finish is beautiful We have had a few issues and LG has been responsive to address these The freezer draw is not closing properly but should be an easy fix The water filter needs to be replaced because the vendor that installed the water line used the wrong type of line So we will see how the water tastes after the new filter arrives The only complaint it would be nice if the waterice face was backlit so my husband could see the various options

Loved the fridge up until it died The water ice dispenser shorted and caused the fridge to stop working Luckily it was under warranty and an LG associated repair shop was able to order the part
