I bought this refrigerator about 8 months ago to replace another brand that constantly had ice maker issues The LG has been better than expected No issues Ice maker works like it is supposed to and is easily accessible Grrat move on my part

It has an amazing internal space and although it is a counterdepth refrigerator I can fit more stuff than my previous standard depth oneThe only issue is that after about 6 months I started to hear some noises and exactly 1 year and 1 day after the purchase date the noise was really loud and I had to call the warranty Thank God I bought it from Costco and got a 2year warranty The technician installed the bottom drawer with a little gap and it cause ice to form inside the refrigerator causing performance issues and noise Thats still a little noisy therefore not 5stars

Condenser iced over and ruined the freezer fan just before the year mark Despite there being a service bulletin known issue to LG the replacement part was backordered with no ETA We spent 3 weeks without a fridge and LG didnt care Customer support was offshore and had trouble understanding the explanation of the issue Communication with the repair tech was also an issue with customer support giving me different info on part status than they gave the tech A little plastic piece that holds the door shut also broke I replaced myself to avoid the pain of customer support The fridge also leans backward which is normal according to the manual as it aids with the doors closing However its a noticeable lean and looks unnatural Short story Ill never buy another LG refrigerator
