We were forced to buy a new refrigerator after the compressor on our previous LG failed after just 5 12 years This new fridge is nice There are a couple of features our previous one had that I wish this one had ie a separate compartment for deli foods etc with a cover and 2 full sized veggie bins instead of a full sized one and one about 34s the size I also with the freezer had 2 bins instead of one However weve made it work just fine My biggest complaint is that the ice cubes are not very big compared to our previous ice maker They melt faster than the other because they are much smaller Also ice cubes in the dispenser have clogged it more than a few times since weve had this refrigerator about 6 weeks Ive had to take the whole ice bin out and shake it to loosen them up I do like the taller shelves and the fact that the top shelf in the fridge part isnt obstructed by a lowering of the ceiling near the back as was the case in our old fridge I do hope that this refrigerator lasts longer than the previous one A 5 12 year lifespan is not long enough for a refrigerator or any other appliance especially for people like us who are senior citizens retired and on a fixed income

I bought this in 2020 and its only been 2 and half years and went out in April Every part ordered was a bad part and still not fixed and its the middle of June

Needed a huge repair at 3 years old Now at 6 years old the ice maker is dead I wont be buying an LG again
