We purchased it about more than 4 years ago Since the beginning it was very noisy Now compressor is not functioning We love the door in door feature and it matched perfect with our all other LG appliances but refrigerator experience is terrible

Chemical smell/taste through the water/ice system

We have had our refrigerator for almost 2 years and we still cant use the waterice maker because of a chemical smelltaste We have probably ran 1520 gallons through it and have replaced the filter with no improvement Any suggestions

It was a great fridge for a year Out of no where the freezer side decided not to keep things cold Everything melted It stays cold but not cold enough Were past our year warranty and we were told we would need to contact a licensed LG repair person The closest one is 3 12 hours away We would have to pay for their mileage and time and then they said they would pay for the part The cost would be almost the same as a new fridge My wife was on the phone for over an hour with their support team and that was the best we got

Absolutely loved the fridge and the small door on the front but at year 4 after buying it new the fridge has multiple problems and ended up being refunded due to all the mechanical issues It was a very long process and months without a fridge before being refunded
