Just OK

I bought an LG washer/dryer set from a big box store that had a 15 day return/exchange policy. The dryer was fine but the washer was noisy especially during the fill and drain cycles. I requested an exchange and a GE washer/dryer unit was brought out. It was actually worse than the LG. I requested a refund and they complied. In the meantime I was searching for a higher quality washer/dryer and ended up with the speed queen front loaders. The washer seems fairly robust although not as quiet as I was hoping for. I was a little more disappointed in the quality of the dryer, particularly the cheap tinny feel of the dryer door. For twice the price of a regular dryer I would have expected a dryer door of higher quality and one that actually matched the washer door. The dryer seems a bit noisier than the LG or GE I previously had. Plastic adjusting feet for the dryer was also very unimpressive for a dryer that costs this much. Not sure this dryer justifies double the cost of the other dryers out there. Time will tell.

Delicate cycle problem

Medium and hot cycles work fine but delicate cycle does not dry clothes on sensor setting. I have to use timed dry and even then I need to run it at least twice. Weâ€™ve had the motherboard and heat sensor changed which helped some.
