Major flaws with this refrigeratorFirst I didnt buy the model for the seethrough refrigeratorside door Its stupid and useless I knew that when buying it but it was the model that fit my space and needsMAJOR FLAW The wonderfully big and roomy door shelves invite you to place lots of items in the door Three times in the 8 months Ive owned this every single door shelf has fallen off They cascade onto the floor One of the shelves is broken now along with the pickle dressing and condiment jars thanks so much LG for the massive cleanup job I had to do so I have one less DO NOT FILL THE SHELVES BECAUSE THEY CANNOT HANDE ANY WEIGHT

Bought my LG from Home Depot Ice maker was not working from day 1 after the third LG tech that was sent out and ice maker replaced it still didnt work Tech was going to let them know frodge needs to be replaced Home depot wont deal with it untilits older than 1 year Took 9 months over a dozen calls they promised a call back every time not once did we get a call back for resolution we had to call over and over This last week my wife spent 6 hours of her life on hold with the incompetent LG customer service which is located in the Philippines They absolutely do not care I will purchase any major appliance from LG or Home Depot ever again I have all the communication and timeline recorded Finally after 9 months we are getting a refund

Purchased the refrigerator in August for our new home and really liked it in the beginning but over time the ice maker especially the craft ice maker makes very loud noises when the ice is deposited in the container Other than that we are very pleased with the product and the performance

I love the ice features especially the craft ice the perfect complement to a long day at work
